Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on the 14th of March 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s only female gymnast to be awarded four gold medals. She also claimed the world title for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles as well as her younger sister Adria was adopted from Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston region), grew up there. Simone's fascination with gymnastics started when she was just six years old after a visit with her day-care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained with Aimee Borman as coach until 2011. Biles was a winner in the floor and vault exercises at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before moving up to the highest level of competition in 2011. Within two years, she dominated this sport. Biles distinguished herself by being consistent, having an exuberant and energetic personality and incorporating a high degree of difficult to all her activities - vault uneven bar floor exercises.
