It was her international breakthrough when she was cast in the role of Mia Colucci in the hit Mexican television show Rebelde and was a part of the Latin Grammy nominated pop group RBD. Anahi has sold more than three million albums as a solo artist. Anahi first began her career in 1985at the age of two, on the Mexican television show Chiquilladas. Anahi was born on 14 May 1983 in Mexico City to a Mexican mom Marichelo Portilla and a Spanish father Enrique Puente. Her older sister is television personality Marichelo Puente (born 1978) as well as an older half-sister Diana Puente from her father's previous marriage.
