Summer glau

Firefly was the next Whedon's success and it's likely that she had an impact. Summer Glau played River Tam without difficulty. Glau was an excellent actress. Tam's character, Summer Glau was forced into government tests in order to prepare her for her role as the perfect assassin. Tam's capacity to control her emotions has been taken from her. Glau's skills in combat were demonstrated in the show Firefly. Glau was able to utilize her athletic abilities due to her training as a sleuth. Summer Glau was classically-trained as ballerina. Her dancing abilities include flamenco, tango and many other styles. But a broken toe cut her off from performing. Firefly lasted only one season, but gained an unstoppable fan base. Whedon got so passionate about Firefly that he decided to return a couple years later. Summer Glau was still getting quality work in the interim.
