sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was originally born July 6, 1946 in Hell's Kitchen as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone. The oldest son of Francesco Stallone Jr. (a hairdresser) and Jackie Stallone (astrologer, and dancer). Frank Stallone Sr, his younger brother is an actor musician, and hairdresser. Sylvester was left paralyzed in the lower left side of his face as a result of complications that occurred during birth. He is now sporting his iconic "snarling" expression and slightly slurred voice. Because of the volatile relationships between his parents, Stallone spent his first years in foster care. They split later. Stallone trained in drama at the American College in Switzerland before going to the University of Miami. After completing his studies at the end of the year, he left the school and moved to New York City in order to pursue a career in acting.
