Heidi Watney

Heidi Watney (born May 19, 1981) is an American sportscaster who works as an Apple TV reporter. TV+.A student at the University of San Diego, her previous experience in sportscasting included roles in MLB Network, New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles, and two stations in Fresno.Watney was a student at Clovis West High School in Fresno, participating in hurdles, diving, gymnastics and cheerleading. Her first year as a National Merit Scholar and attended the University of San Diego on an academic scholarship. she graduated with honors in 2003. Watney took part in Miss California USA in 2002, where she was first third place. Watney started her work at KMPH-TV (FOX 26), Fresno, in September 2003. Beginning as a morning traffic reporter, she became a weekend sports anchor and later the weekday reporter. [3]Watney moved to Massachusetts in 2008 and began working for New England Sports Network (NESN). She was an Boston Red Sox gameday reporter. Watney was also host of the Ultimate Red Sox Show, Red Sox Report and Red Sox Report. In January 2012, Watney began working for Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles as a reporter for LA Galaxy. Then, she was sacked by MLB Network in November 2012 in which she worked for 9 years. She was also the host of Quick Pitch. She joined Apple TV+ in 2022.
